Pharmacy Partners
Reborn Rx does not dispense medication. Prescriptions go to independent, state-licensed pharmacies — and you can send yours somewhere else if you prefer.
In plain language
We do not own, operate, or take payment from any pharmacy. They hold their own licenses and are separately accountable for what they dispense.
Compounding pharmacies we work with must be licensed in your state, meet USP sterile preparation standards, and provide third-party potency and sterility testing on request.
You always have the right to have your prescription sent to a pharmacy you choose. Just tell your care team.
01Who dispenses your medication
Reborn RX LLC is not a pharmacy. It does not manufacture, compound, stock, dispense, sell, or resell prescription medication, and it holds no pharmacy license.
When your clinician issues a prescription, it is transmitted electronically to an independent, state-licensed pharmacy of record. That pharmacy is separately responsible for verifying the prescription, checking for interactions, compounding or dispensing, labeling, counseling, shipping, and billing you.
Your monthly price includes the medication, and Reborn Rx remits the medication portion to the dispensing pharmacy. Reborn Rx receives no rebate or payment from any manufacturer, and no clinician is compensated for issuing a prescription or based on which pharmacy fills it or which product is dispensed.
02Your right to choose your pharmacy
You are never required to use a pharmacy we suggest. You have the right to have your prescription filled at any pharmacy licensed to dispense it — a local independent, a chain, a mail-order pharmacy, or one your insurance prefers.
To redirect a prescription, message your care team or call 1-877-671-5767 with the pharmacy name, address, and phone number. We will transmit it there, usually the same business day, at no cost. If you have already been dispensed medication, remaining refills can be transferred.
Choosing your own pharmacy does not affect your care. You would pay that pharmacy directly for the medication, and we would move you to a care-only price for the clinical services — ask us for the figure before you decide. Shipping and refund terms will then be set by that pharmacy rather than by our Shipping Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
03How we vet a pharmacy
Before a pharmacy receives any Reborn Rx prescription, and annually thereafter, we verify:
- Active pharmacy license in its home state and a non-resident license in every state it ships to, confirmed with the issuing board;
- Disciplinary and inspection history with each state board, including any consent orders or restrictions;
- FDA registration status and any warning letters, Form 483 observations, recalls, or import alerts;
- Sourcing — that active pharmaceutical ingredients come from FDA-registered facilities, with documentation;
- Insurance — current professional and product liability coverage;
- Cold-chain validation — documented packaging qualification for the shipping lanes and seasons used.
A pharmacy that receives a significant regulatory action, fails an inspection, or is the subject of a substantiated quality complaint is suspended from receiving prescriptions pending review.
04Standards for compounding pharmacies
Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded preparations for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality before they are dispensed, and does not inspect them lot by lot. The standards below are what we require — they are meaningful, but they are not FDA approval and should not be described as equivalent to it.
Compounding pharmacies dispensing to Reborn Rx patients must:
- Operate as a 503A pharmacy dispensing against patient-specific prescriptions, or a registered 503B outsourcing facility, and hold the licenses appropriate to that status;
- Compound sterile preparations in compliance with USP General Chapter <797>, and non-sterile preparations under USP <795>;
- Source active pharmaceutical ingredients only from FDA-registered facilities, with a certificate of analysis for every lot;
- Perform or obtain independent third-party testing of finished preparations for potency, sterility, and endotoxins;
- Assign beyond-use dating supported by stability data, not by convention;
- Maintain full lot traceability from API through to the patient, so that any recall can be actioned;
- Provide the certificate of analysis for your specific lot on request, at no charge.
To request a certificate of analysis, message your care team with the lot number from your label, or email info@rebornrx.health.
05What you should receive
Every shipment should include:
- A prescription label showing the dispensing pharmacy's name, address, and phone number, your name, the medication and strength, directions, the prescriber's name, the fill date, the lot number, and the beyond-use or expiration date;
- Patient information or a Medication Guide for the product;
- Storage and handling instructions;
- Injection supplies and instructions where applicable;
- An offer of counseling by a licensed pharmacist — you may call the pharmacy directly with any medication question, at no cost.
If the label is missing, unreadable, or does not match what you were prescribed, do not use the medication and contact us immediately. See Report an Adverse Event.
06How to verify a pharmacy
- Find the pharmacy name and address on your prescription label or in your patient portal.
- Search the public license register of your state's board of pharmacy, and of the pharmacy's home state.
- Check the FDA's compounding pharmacy inspection and recall pages at fda.gov/drugs/human-drug-compounding.
Ask us for the direct links at any time. We will never discourage you from checking.
